What do you mean - good or bad? It seems that in 2004 also some Lama from Tibet based in north India with Dalai Lama won a Grammy. Does that make Lama Tashi's (of NE India) work any worse? Is there any competition?

It's not only the big stars shining today for the Grammy awards. Adding to the high spirits are a Buddhist monk and, of course, rich socialite Paris Hilton.
Before the major awards are presented at the Staples Center in Los Angeles at the televised ceremony, other recipients took the stage to get their gongs in the non-televised section.
They included Buddhist monk Tenam Lama , who with the Monks of Sherab Ling Monestary got the award for Best Traditional World Music Album for Sacred Tibetan Chant.
