If Tatas want to GIVE SOMETHING BACK:
They should first make Delhi 's Fecal discharge to Yamuna ZERO
And to aim at their Target Rich Cities' Solid Waste- with an avowed aim to convert all solid waste into Methanol-DME so that all New Tata SUV's/Trucks/Buses RUN on the City Solid-waste-DerivedTataDME.

Jusco plans to tap civic bodies for water servicesJamshedpur Utilities & Services Company (Jusco), a 100% subsidiary ofTata Steel and the only private sector player in the civic utilitiessector, is fast spreading its wings in the country, especially thewater & sanitation sector. After competing with IVRCL, Hyderabad, Jusco was recently awarded thelaying of a drinking water distribution network of 73-km length inMuzzaffarpur town (2nd phase) on a turnkey basis.Jusco sources said the PHED department of the Bihar government hasfixed an 18-month deadline for completing the work (at Muzzaffarpur),which will be followed by a three-month trial run of the system andbearing of responsibility for operation & maintenance of it foranother six months.Similarly, the Haldia Integrated Development Agency, a company floatedby Haldia Development Authority (HDA) and IL&FS, has taken upaugmentation of the existing water supply system in the area to meetthe additional demand for water due to an increase in industrial unitsthere. Here too, Jusco, after competing with entities like RamkeyInfrastructure (Hyderabad), Haldia Development Company, andElectrosteel Casting (Kolkata), was in February this year awarded acontract to lay pipes that would connect the Geonkhali water treatmentplant to the Chaitanyapur pumping station. It is also yet to finalise a Kolkata Metropolitan DevelopmentAuthority BOT (build, operate & transfer) project for development ofthe water & sewerage system in Sector V of Salt Lake, said to be thefirst ever contract to be given to the private sector by any municipality. For a nationwide presence, the country's first private sector utilityis set to open offices in Delhi and Mumbai. It already has regionaloffices in Bangalore and Kolkata, as well as site offices in Haldiaand Muzzafarpur (Bihar).Jusco sources said the company is, for the near future, targetingcities like Delhi, Bhopal and Jabalpur in the north, Mysore, Bangalore& Hyderabad in the south, Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur & Latur in the west, and Kolkata, Kharagpur & Durgapur in the east.According to Jusco managing director Sanjiv Paul, the company wouldlike to play the role of infrastructure manager (e.g. work in the areaof management, maintenance & operation of municipal assets in thecountry) and not merely that of a corporate engaged in creation of assets.Company sources said the Nitish Kumar government in Bihar, which iseager to improve Patna's civic infrastructure, is also looking forwardto professional help from companies like Jusco. The company, which is into a wide range of civic activities here, likesupply of water and power to the steel city, road building &maintenance, garbage clearance, etc, wants to become a national leaderin the provision of quality water and sanitation services in the nearfuture.
